The Winnebago Fuse 23a has many nooks and crannies that are great for folks with an imagination. Above the door is an odd nook that is 24 inches wide by 13 inches tall and 2 inches deep. The area has a one inch frame around it with a bar in the middle. (The bar is part of the frame and does not support a shelf behind it.) We can’t figure out what you would store here, so we decided to make it a display area.
To make it secure, we went for magnetic power. We used a galvanized steel sheet cut to size (then had to recut it shorter to maneuver it into the frame.) Double-sided tape was used to secure the steel sheet to the wall. The 2x3 foot piece had lots of material left over for other projects.
